Use a good-weight fleece for the body of the pants and a woven or striped tape for the contrast piping, so it looks neat and even. It sells well in urban sport lines, styled with jackets or sweatshirts from the same line. When sewing, attach the piping before closing the side seam so it stays straight along the whole leg.
